Five people suspected of dealing in methamphetamine were recently after a six-week drug investigation in Towns County.

The Towns County Sherrif's Office said in a social media post authorities were able to arrest the suspects following work from undercover investigators.

All five of the suspects were caught on video clearly showing the illegal drugs and cash changing hands during the undercover investigations. Arrest warrants were obtained for all five suspects following the undercover transactions.

A round-up began on Sunday, Nov. 19, as a result of the arrest warrants. The following suspects were arrested, charged and are being held without bond:

"Sheriff Ken Henderson stresses that if you are selling drugs in Towns County, we are coming after you," the social media post said. "This 6-week investigation and long hours have resulted in getting these dealers out of our community."
