No injuries were reported in a house fire Monday evening just west of Gainesville.

A press release from Hall County Fire Rescue said crews responded at about 10:20 p.m. to the fire in the 3300 block of Robinson Road.

Arriving crews found a fully involved, small residential home. Crews were able to attack the fire from outside the home and quickly extinguished the flames.

The resident and their pet were able to exit the home safely before crews arrived.

The American Red Cross was notified for the displaced homeowner. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal's Office.

"Please use this as a reminder to change out your smoke alarm batteries," a press release from the agency said.

Hall County residents who do not have smoke alarms in their homes can request them for free on the Hall County website.
