Another Northeast Georgia tradition is renewed for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Project Joy is having their 14th annual Thanksgiving Lunch on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23.
The sit-down meal will be held at the Gainesville Masonic Lodge on Lakeshore Drive, across from the Lakeshore Mall,.
It begins at 11:30 a.m. to provide a warm holiday lunch to Meals on Wheels participants, those in need, and for many who will be alone on the holiday.
Organizers will also provide the Meals on Wheels deliveries for Thanksgiving beginning at 12:00 Noon.
