Gwinnett County Fire officials investigating possible arson in Lawrenceville

Gwinnett County Fire investigators are looking into the cause of an early morning fire Tuesday at a business in Lawrenceville. 

Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services said in a press release firefighters responded to the blaze at around 2:38 a.m. at a business located at 553 Seaboard Industrial Drive NE.

Firefighters witnessed multiple vehicles owned by a concrete company that were on fire behind the business. 

The fire was subdued at around 3:08 a.m. 

Gwinnett County Fire Investigators along with the Lawrenceville Police Department, the Gwinnett County Police Department and state and federal law enforcement partners are investigating the fire as a possible arson.

No injuries were reported.

“Arson is a serious felony crime and is punishable by imprisonment and associated fines,” the press release said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
