The drop in gas prices continues for Georgia commuters this week.
Triple-A of Georgia's Montrae Waiters reports the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline statewide sits at $2.85 today (Monday).
That's another five cents below last week's average, and 32 cents below the average from one month ago.
Waiters says the decline comes before the holiday travel week due, in part, to Governor Brian Kemp's extended suspension of the gas tax.
Prices in Hall County are also dropping to an average of $2.70 per-gallon this week, while Dawson County's average of $2.69 is the lowest in Northeast Georgia.
