RABBITTOWN, Ga. — East Hall used a 20-9 fourth quarter to blow open a close game for a 62-48 win over Banks County on Saturday in both teams' season openers in Valhalla.
The Vikings (1-0) led just 42-39 heading into the final period but got hot down the stretch. They led 16-14 after the first quarter and took a 31-29 lead into halftime.
Freshman Brayden Langston led the way with 17 points for East Hall. Jamarcus Harrison added 12, Yair Fajardo, Tyler Parker, Chris Alford, and Chasen Jones all added 6 points for the Vikings.
Aaron Scott led Banks County (0-1) with 18 points. Kolby Watson had 11 points and Hunter Youngblood 9 for the Leopards.
