Maranatha Christian Academy has received a renewed five-year accreditation from the Georgia Association of Christian Schools for its K3-12th grade programs.
The accreditation renewal process involved an evaluation of the school's educational programs, administrative practices, and overall commitment to its mission. The Oakwood–based school reportedly met and exceeded the requirements set by GACS.
In addition to the accreditation renewal from GACS, the academy holds accreditations from several educational organizations, including the American Association of Christian Schools, National Council for Private School Accreditation, COGNIA, Georgia Private School Accreditation Council, and the North American Christian School Accrediting Agency.
The school expressed excitement about the renewal in a press release.
“The leadership, faculty, and staff at Maranatha Christian Academy are grateful for the trust placed in them by GACS and the other accrediting bodies,” the release read. “They remain committed to providing students with a well-rounded education that nurtures their intellectual and spiritual development.”
