A third and final suspect was recently arrested in connection with an October Hall County armed robbery which saw a teenager stripped of his clothes and beaten with a baseball bat.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office said Fernando Saul Bautista-Gomez, 20, of Gainesville, turned himself in at the Hall County Jail Friday morning in connection with the Oct. 27 robbery.

Bautista-Gomez was charged with felony armed robbery, two counts of felony aggravated assault and battery.

This follows the previous arrests of Joshua Gutierrez, 17, of Gainesville, and Andre Marcus Brooks, 17, of Flowery Branch, on one count each of armed robbery, aggravated assault and misdemeanor battery.

The agency previously said investigators believed the three suspects picked up a 16-year-old boy from a store on Shallowford Road on the evening of Oct. 27. They drove the victim to a home on Bradford Street Extention, claiming they were taking him to a party.

However, the suspects assaulted the victim with a baseball bat, stripped him of his clothing and fired a gunshot toward him once at the home. They also took items from the victim and left in a vehicle.

The boy was taken to the hospital for treatment and was later released.

The incident is still under investigation by the sheriff's office as of Friday afternoon.
