A man from Canon was killed in a two-vehicle wreck Sunday afternoon on GA 15 in Rabun County.
According to a press release from the Georgia State Patrol, the accident happened at about 1:30 p.m.
Sara Youngblood, 69, of Clayton, was driving a Ford Explorer on GA 15 and attempting to turn left when she allegedly failed to yield. Youngblood drove into the path of a motorcycle driven by Nathanael Vanesse, 38, of Canon. The motorcycle hit the right side of the Explorer, ejecting Vanesse from the motorycle.
Vanesse died as a result.
An investigation is underway and charges are pending against Youngblood.
