Georgia gas price averages continue to decline at the pump this week, heading into the heart of Autumn.
Georgia drivers are now paying an average price of $3.01 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline, down six cents from one week ago, and 31 cents below the average price from a month ago.
Montrae Waiters of AAA reports the less expensive winter blend fuel, Governor Kemp's suspension of the state gas tax and lower seasonal demand are contributing factors for the price decline.
The average price for unleaded regular gas in Hall County is more than ten cents below the state's average, at $2.90 per gallon, as of today, with the lowest average in Northeast Georgia at $2.81 per gallon in Stephens County.
