Cole cops Red Clay Series Pollard Memorial at Senoia

With Senoia Raceway closing out the 2023 points paying season on Saturday night, Taylor Cole rose to the challenge to score the win at the Senoia, Georgia speedplant.

Cole, from Cartersville, Georgia, started the Red Clay Series 602 Late Model feature from the pole, and converted that to a victory in the Hence and Reba Pollard Memorial at the 3/8-mile clay speedway.

Brandon McDaniel followed in second, with Dylan Perry in third, Wiley McDaniel in fourth, and Payton Sevenson in fifth.

Daniel Brewer, Sawyer Tinker, Cody Newton, Koulten Herbert, and Jay Coen rounded out the top 10.

In other action, Dusty Jones beat out Zach Leonhardi for the Limited Late Model feature. Pearson Williams finished in third, with Jim Rogers in fourth, and Chase Baker in fifth.

James Swanger topped the Hobby field for the feature victory. T.J. Joiner crossed the finish line in second, with Chris Arnett in third, Greg Thomas in fourth, and Landon DeGraff in fifth.

Dewayne Aldridge took the checkered flag ahead of Zach Shelton to record the Modified feature win, with John Holcomb third, Eric Granger fourth, and Ricky Culpepper fifth.

Shannon Ethridge scored the win in the Mini Stock feature. Tommy Faulkner, Barry Perry, Chris Hipp, and Michael Poss rounded out the top five.

Wesley Marchman beat out Dean Delamar to take the victory in the 602 Charger feature, with Colton Blakely in third, Nickelos Stiles in fourth, and Gary Tatum in fifth.

Derick Mathews was the winner in the Bomber feature, followed by Tyler Hamrick in second, Chaz Haskins in third, Chris Steele in fourth, and Wilson Boozer in fifth.

David Pope drove to the victory in the Hot Shot feature. Eli Levine finished second, with Robert Fisher third, Mike Levine fourth, and Mike Webb fifth.

While the points paying season may be over for Senoia Raceway, there are still race dates on the calendar. Action returns to Senoia on Saturday, October 7. For more details, visit SenoiaRaceway1969.com.
