A Murrayville man was arrested by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office Thursday for allegedly sharing child pornography through social media.
John Paul Hendrix, 35, was arrested at his residence on Claude Parks Road following an investigation into a cyber tip and is charged with possession and distribution of child pornography.
According to a press release, arrest warrants indicate Hendrix was in possession of a video showing two young children, both believed to be under the age of 12, engaged in sexual activity. The suspect shared the video with another individual via his Facebook account. The offenses occurred between Nov. 2 and Nov. 3, 2021.
Hendrix is charged with two felony counts of sexual exploitation of children. He remains in the Hall County Jail with no bond.
