In the past, the unveiling of the new liveries on the NASCAR tour was such a big deal that entire websites were dedicated to it, and there was even part of a yearly pre-season event that centered around the new paint jobs.

Now, it's become more of a side bar than a main story.

On this week's Hard Left Turn podcast, our crew talks about the evolution of paint schemes in NASCAR and in motorsports, about how certain looks in history were iconoic, and why the look of a car at the beginning of the year just isn't that big a deal anymore.
