With a record number of cautions, lots of blown tires and a ton of torn up race cars, Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race proved to be a battle for survival at Texas Motor Speedway.

Our Hard Left Turn crew takes a look at the carnage and news out of the Lone Star State, including:

-Tyler Reddick scored his third career series win by outlasting the competition at Texas.

-Blown tires and failed parts caused more headaches for the competitors.

-William Byron and Denny Hamlin had a run-in that we likely have not heard the last of.

-The drama and damage at Texas has again jumbled the Playoff standings.

-Jimmie Johnson has announced that he's retiring from full time racing.  What does his future hold?

Plus we'll preview the upcoming race weekend at Talladega.
