A public celebration of life service for former Georgia First Lady Sandra Deal will be held at 2 p.m. today at Lanier Technical College’s Ramsey Center.
The ceremony will be followed by visitation with the family until 5 p.m.
Deal died August 23rd following a battle with cancer.
The celebration of life also will be live streamed online for those unable to attend in person, and information can be found at memorialparkfuneralhomes.com.
The family has established The Deal Foundation to continue the work that Sandra Deal found important: scholarships, reading advocacy, book distribution, and many other literacy efforts for Georgia's children and students. Donations can be sent to The Deal Foundation, P.O. Box 2, Demorest, GA 30535.
