OMAHA, Neb. — Spencer Ralston closed out the Korn Ferry Tour Pinnacle Bank Championship at The Club at Indian Creek course on Sunday shooting a 1-under par 70 to finish in a tie for 47th.
The Gainesville native had birdies and Nos. 3, 10, and 12 and capped off the round with six straight pars on the back-nine. He had bogeys on Nos. 9 and 11.
The finish did moved Ralston up one spot to 79th on the Korn Ferry Tour points list. The top 75 qualify for the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Championship at Victoria National Golf Course in Newburgh, Ind. on Sept. 1-4.
There are two more events in the coming weeks -- the Albertsons Boise Open in Boise, Idaho beginning on Thursday and the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship in Columbus, Ohio on Aug. 25 -- for Ralston to try and climb the points list to get into the tour finale.
