Local fans of the World Champion Atlanta Braves will have an opportunity to see the spoils of victory when the trophy comes to Gainesville on Thursday.
The trophy has traveled around the Southeast as part of a 151-stop tour following the Braves' historic World Championship win last year, and fans are invited to come and take photos with the 2021 World Series Trophy.
"Each tour stop includes promotional item giveaways and an opportunity to win a VIP Sweepstakes experience to Truist Park as the Braves take on the New York Mets on October 1," the team said in a press release.
The coveted prize will be at the Truist Bank branch at 455 Jesse Jewell Pkwy, Gainesville, GA 30501, from noon to 3 p.m.
"In addition, the Braves' flagship station, 680/93.7FM The Fan, will be on-site for a live broadcast of their mid-day show, Cellini & Dimino," the release stated.
