Caroll Daniel Construction won the top award in its category on June 23 at the Associated Builders and Contractors of Georgia’s 2022 Excellence in Construction and Safety Awards.

This was the first year that the nationally-recognized commercial construction services firm entered a project with ABC Georgia. Caroll Daniel Construction won an excellence award for their work at the new Jackson County High School.

Jackson County High School was the highest-scoring project in the general contractor, institutional category. The new 250,000-square-foot school was built in May 2021 to replace the 30-year-old Jackson County Comprehensive High School.

The Caroll Daniel Safety Team, led by Safety Director Robbie Pope, was also recognized for receiving the “Silver” level in ABC’s “Safety Training Evaluation Process.”

Caroll Daniel President and CEO Brian Daniel was at the ABC gala to receive the recognition.

“The entire Carroll Daniel team is honored to be recognized by its peers at ABC Georgia, from both project and safety perspectives,” Daniel said in a press release. “Our team will always strive for excellence - for our clients, employees and the communities we work in.”
