Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish a shed fire without injuries in Gainesville Monday morning.
According to a press release from Hall County Fire Rescues, crews from the agency and the Gainesville Fire Department responded at about 9:45 a.m. to the shed fire behind a home in the 700 block of Harrison Street in Gainesville.
Crews found the shed on fire only about 10 feet away from the resident's home. Firefighters made an aggressive attack to extinguish the fire and stop it from spreading. It was quickly controlled and extinguished. Units cleared the scene at 11:35 a.m.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal's Office.
