It was a thrill packed, unpredictable day of racing on Sunday, as Marcus Ericsson scored the victory at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Our Hard Left Turn crew, with special guest Joe VanHoose, has a look at all the action from the Biggest Day In Motorsports, including:

-Scott Dixon appeared to have the 106th running of the Indianapolis 500 in hand until the final green flag pit stop, when he was caught speeding on pit road.  That opened to door for Ericsson, who muscled by Felix Rosenqvist, to take the lead, and then held off Pato O'Ward on a two-lap shootout to take the win.

-Jimmie Johnson crashed late, but still came home as the Rookie of the Race.  How does out crew rate his performace?

-Later on Sunday at Charlotte, Denny Hamlin survived a late race crash with a four-wide pass to take the lead, and then held on for an overtime win in one of the most unpredictable Coca-Cola 600s in recent memory.

-Chris Buescher took a wild, side-over-side crash on the frontstretch, while many other drivers had problems in an incident filled but wildly entertaining race at Charlotte.

Plus, we'll preview this wekeend's race at St. Louis.
