Flowery Branch Police arrested an Auburn man Monday following an investigation into the alleged molestation of a teenage girl.
Police said the girl told authorities on March 23, 2022, that John Lee Dykes, 40, had allegedly molested her.
Dykes was a friend of the girl's family. Investigators believe he traveled to the family's home in Flowery Branch on the same day that the girl disclosed the incident. Dykes is accused of touching the girl inappropriately while the two were alone in a room.
The girl reported the incident to her family, who then contacted Flowery Branch Police.
