Gwinnett County Police look for men accused of stealing $30,000 in jewelry

Gwinnett County Police are searching for two men who are accused of stealing jewelry valued at over $30,000 from Sugarloaf Mills Mall.
 
Mario Lee Pittman, 28 of Decatur, and Jason Adam Warren, 28 of Lithonia, entered the Jewelry Box Outlet at Sugarloaf Mills Mall on April 27. The men tried on two diamond and gold bracelets with a value over $26,000. They then took the bracelets and fled the store on foot.
 
Pittman and Warren returned to Sugarloaf Mills Mall on April 30. This time, they approached the Status Jewels kiosk and asked to try on a bracelet valued at $4,500. An employee placed the bracelet on Warren’s wrist and both men fled to the parking lot.
 
According to a Gwinnett County Police Department press release, the men are believed to be driving a black BMW SUV with a Georgia tag. The license plate number is CMI1394.
 
Anyone with information on Pittman or Warren’s locations is asked to contact Gwinnett County Police Department investigators.
