With less than 30 laps to go, William Byron pinched Joey Logano into the outside wall to take the lead, and appeared to be on his way to the win at Darlington Raceway.
But Logano had other ideas, shoving Byron out of the way with just over a lap to go to retake the lead and get his first NASCAR Cup Series win of the season.
Our Hard Left Turn crew takes a look at the controversy and the competition from the track "Too Tough To Tame", including:
-Logano said the contact was fair play after the earlier run in, while Byron cried foul.
-It was another rough outing for Denny Hamlin, who looked early on to have been a good day, as well as a bad day for Kyle Busch, who left his car parked in the middle of pit road.
-On the other hand, it was a strong day for Tyler Reddick, Justin Haley, and Kevin Harvick.
-Darlington's Throwback Weekend again delivered, with great paint schemes and salutes to heroes of the past.
Plus, we'll have a look at this weekend's NASCAR action at Kansas Speedway.
