Piedmont University faculty adopts no confidence resolution regarding President James Mellichamp

The Faculty Senate at Piedmont University has passed a no confidence vote in the ability of President James Mellichamp to “lead the university in a professional manner that enables our faculty to educate and serve our students effectively in the spirit of shared governance, transparency, trustworthiness.”

The resolution was adopted Monday by majority vote of the faculty in attendance during a called meeting of the entire faculty.
