ATLANTA — Atlanta United on Monday announced that Miles Robinson suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in his left leg during Saturday’s 4-1 win vs. Chicago Fire FC.
Robinson is scheduled to have surgery later Monday. He is the third Atlanta United player to be lost for the seaondue to a ruptured Achilles tendon.
Atlanta (4-4-2, 14 points) returns to action on Wednesday, visiting Nashville SC for the U.S. Open Cup Round of 32 at GEODIS Park). The Five Strips return home to Mercedes-Benz Stadium for MLS action on Sunday against New England Revolution.
