A Hall County man was convicted by a Hall County jury Friday on charges of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, incest and two counts of child molestation.

District Attorney Lee Darragh said Timothy James Levalley, 48, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Levalley was sentenced as a recidivist.

The trial spanned four days and the jury was out for less than two hours on Thursday evening and Friday morning, according to Darragh. Andrew Fuller was the presiding judge and Alicia Gassett was the primary prosecutor.

Levalley molested the victim in the case over a span of several years starting in 2011, when the child was five years old.

"The State is grateful for his having been held accountable both by the jury and the judge," Darragh said.
