A fugitive wanted for child pornography is now in jail in Gwinnett County. According to the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office, Thomas George Kaercher, 32, is in custody for multiple internet crimes against children.
Originally arrested in Gwinnett County in May of 2020, Kaercher failed to appear before the judge on his scheduled court date and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Kaercher has been charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Aggravated Child Molestation (x2), Electronically Furnishing Obscene Material to Minors, Computer Pornography, and Obscene Internet Contact with a Child.
Investigators located Kaercher in Savannah and he was extradited to Gwinnett County. He is now in jail without bond.
The Gwinnett County Police Department is leading the investigation.
