A father and son were both killed when their boat overturned on a Jackson County pond on Sunday.
Mark McKinnon with the GA Department of Natural Resources says game wardens responded to the area of Brockton Road around 4 p.m. “A father and adult son were on board a boat when it capsized and they both drowned,” says McKinnon. He added that they were recovered by a Jefferson Fire Department dive team.
The two victims have been identified as Calvin Harris, Sr., age 55 of Rex, GA and Calvin Harris, Jr. age 32 of Stone Mountain.
