Three Lumpkin County residents arrested on drug and weapon charges

A multi-month investigation in Lumpkin County has culminated in the arrests of three people. After investigating activity at a residence on Peck Rd., authorities got a search warrant where they found three pounds of marijuana, numerous THC concentrates, large amounts of cash, and at least a dozen firearms.

According to a press release from the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office, during that search warrant last Wednesday three Lumpkin County residents were arrested. Asa Scott Wilson, 32 years old, Caitlyn Marie Crowley, 24 years old, and Justin Matthew Hollis, 35 years old were all taken to the Lumpkin County Jail. All three face charges of Possession of Schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana over 1 oz, and four charges of possession of firearms during the commission of certain crimes.

The investigation was conducted by the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office, along with assistance from the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office.
