CUMMING, Ga. — The Gainesville boys tennis team strolled out of Forsyth Central with a close 3-2 win on Tuesday.
Kamyabb Cornett was the lone singles winner with a 6-3, 7-5 win over Gene Yun.
The Red Elephants, however, swept the doubles action with Andrew Elliott and Samuel Holt winning the No. 1 bout, 6-2, 6-2. Meanwhile, No. 2 doubles team of Jacob Nguyen and Reed Slack won in straight sets as well, 6-1, 6-0.
