ALPHARETTA — The Lakeview Academy girls finished third in Region 6-A Private after beating Mt Pisgah 63-24 on Saturday in the third-place game at Kings Ridge.
The Lady Lions had a slow start leading just 12-9 after the first quarter and 21-13 at the half. The exploded for 42 second-half points.
Joelle Snyder paced Lakeview with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Dynesty Putman added 19 points and 8 assists, Sydney Corbin had 7 points, and Ashlyn Henderson 4 points and 8 rebounds for the Lady Lions.
Lakeview will open the Class A Private state tournament against old foe Prince Avenue. A day and time have yet to be determined.
