RABBITTOWN — East Hall got its first win of the season for new coach Chris Henry on Friday.
Behind a hat trick from Angel Perez, the Vikings powered past East Forsyth 5-1 at East Hall Stadium.
Perez broke a scoreless tie midway through the first half to give East Hall (1-4-1) a 1-0 lead. East Forsyth (0-3) tied it up minutes later but Perez reclaimed the lead just before the half for a 2-1 lead.
The Vikings blew it open with three goals in the first 20 minutes of the second half, including a pair of goals from David Loza. Amado Valladarez and Justin Torres each had assists for the Vikings.
East Hall next will travel to Stephens County on Tuesday.

Ozmar Marceleno scored twice and Daniel Solis added a goal to lead the Red Elephants (4-1) to their third straight victory at City Park.
Gainesville’s midfield of Hector Aguilera, Andy Alarcon and Noe Vazquez helped control the tempo as Gainesville dominated the time of possession.
Josthin Arellano-Escamilla had the shut out in goal, including one incredible save from point-blank range to keep the clean sheet.
Gainesville next will play host to Collin Hills on Tuesday.

Flowery Branch did not let a disappointing loss to Johnson on Wednesday slow them down on Friday.
The Class 4A second-ranked Falcons held off Class 7A No. 10 North Gwinnett 1-0 in the North Georgia Soccer Showcase at the University of North Georgia.
Senior Andree Jimenez scored with just 10 minutes left off a pass from senior Max Garnett to break a scoreless tie after 70 minutes for the Falcons (3-1-1). From there the defense was able to keep the Bulldogs (3-1) off the board.
Junior J.C. Montoya and and sophomore Cristian Guerra combined in goal for the shutout.
The Falcons will travel to Class 6A South Gwinnett on Tuesday.
