RABBITTOWN — A young East Hall team is still looking for its first win of the season after falling 3-0 to Winder-Barrow at East Hall Stadium on Tuesday.
The Vikings (0-4-1) gave up three second half goals after going into halftime in 0-0 draw with the Bulldoggs (3-2).
A penalty kick awarded, and converted, gave Winder-Barrow a 1-0 lead early in the second half. It stayed that despite several East Hall chances until the Bulldoggs netted two late goals to pull away.
The Vikings have played a very tough early schedule as their first five opponents have a combined 16-5-2 record.
East Hall next will play host to East Forsyth on Friday.
GAINESVILLE 3,
CHEROKEE BLUFF 1
The Red Elephants (3-1) won their second straight game behind two goals from Gabriel Ixcoy.
However, it was Noe Vazquez that gave Gainesville the initial lead on a penalty kick in the first half. Cherokee Bluff (0-3) tied it up minutes later on a PK of its own.
But Ixcoy scored his first goal with 10 minutes left in the first half for the eventual game-winner. Ixcoy put the game away on his second goal with just 5 minutes left.
Gainesville next will host to Chestatee at City Park on Friday.
Bluff travels to Class 5A No. 2 Johnson on Friday.

NORTH HALL 0
The two teams played to a draw at The Brickyard on Tuesday.
Lakeview (1-0-1) will head to Tallulah Falls on Thursday.
North Hall (0-0-1) will travel to Banks County on Friday.
