ATLANTA — Gainesville sophomore Eamon Monaghan had big day at the Georgia Tech Aquatics Center on Saturday.
At the Georgia High School Assocation state swim meet, Monaghan captured the Class 7A 100-meter butterfly state title.
Monaghan finished the event in a winning of 48.63 to beat the 8-man field.
