RABBITTOWN, Ga. — East Hall snapped its seven-game losing streak to open the season with a 71–32 win over Commerce on Saturday at home.
The Vikings (1-7) led just 23-21 at halftime but exploded in the second half. East Hall outscored the Tigers (2-5) 48–11 over the final 16 minutes.
Freshman JaMarcus Harrison and senior Levi Holtzclaw each scored 15 points apiece to pace East Hall. Freshman Chasen Jones chipped in 9 points and senior Cam Herrick and sophomore Yair Furtado each added 7 for the Vikings.
East Hall will travel to Seckinger on Tuesday in a Region 8-4A contest.
Commerce will hit the road against Riverside Military Academy on Tuesday.

Justyce Sadler and Brock Graham each scored 14 points to help lead Lakeview Academy to a win at home on Saturday.
Union County (4-4) led 12-11 after the first quarter and extended its lead to 27-23 by halftime. The Lions rallied in the second half.
Lakeview (3-5) used a 17-8 third quarter to grab a 40-35 lead and then pulled away in the fourth quarter.
Jack Collins added 11 points and Tayden Ware had 9 points for Lakeview Academy.
Lakeview is off until playing host to Habersham Central on Dec. 20.
Union County is off until Friday when they play host to Fannin County.
