No one was hurt Wednesday morning in a Hall County house fire.

“At approximately 10:50 a.m. Hall County Fire Rescue was dispatched to a residential fire on the 4400 block of Stacey Drive in Oakwood,” said spokeswoman Kimberlie Ledsinger.

Crews arrived to find the single-story structure with heavy fire exiting the carport on the left side of the home.

“The bulk of the fire spread into the attic and a small portion of the residence, but was extinguished quickly,” Ledsinger said.

No one was hurt, and the American Red Cross was requested to provide temporary assistance for three residents.

The fire is under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
