Gwinnett County Police arrest woman for Duluth murder

The Gwinnett County Police Department has arrested a woman who is accused of fatally shooting a man in Duluth on Saturday.
 
Authorities arrested Erika Garcia on Sunday and she is accused of killing Mario Acosta-Chavez.
 
The shooting happened at 8:40 p.m. in the 3400 block of Forest Knoll Ct. Police responded to an unknown medical call, where the caller reported that Acosta-Chavez was lying on the ground near the road.
 
Paramedics arrived to render medical aid to Acosta-Chavez, but he had already died.
 
Garcia was charged with aggravated assault and felony murder.
