Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King is seeking the public's help to identify the culprit behind two fires in Lumpkin County.

The fires occurred at approximately 1:05 p.m. on November 7 at 102 & 106 Pine Corner Drive in Murrayville.

A reward of up to $10,000 is offered by Georgia Arson Control for information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

“Both residences received damage to the outside walls in what have been determined to be intentionally set fires,” King said.

Anybody with information on these fires should call the Georgia Arson Control Hotline at 1-800-252-5804.
