Two Hall County teachers were recently selected for LEAD CTAE, a leadership development program designed for Georgia CTAE professionals.
According to a press release from the school district, Work-Based Learning Coordinator Suzanne Haynes and East Hall Middle School Agriculture Teacher Zach Free were selected for the program.
The program is intended to help educators gain skills in team building, leadership, business engagement, legislative advocacy and policy, economic development and more.
Participants attend five program sessions over a nine-month period.
The sixth class of participants represents 20 schools, 18 school districts and 15 program areas. They kicked off their year on October 22 through the 24 at Lake Lanier Islands. Graduation will be celebrated at the 2023 Georgia ACTE conference in Athens.
"I am excited to participate in the LEAD CTAE program," Haynes said. “I know it will provide a valuable insight to CTAE leadership and operations across the state."
“I am so honored to be part of this amazing experience, to be able to learn leadership skills and grow professionally from other peers in CTAE from across the state will be an invaluable opportunity in my career," Free said.
