Hart County Sheriff Mike Cleveland said six simultaneous search warrants executed Thursday in Hart and Franklin counties led to 11 arrests, including two for conspiracy to commit murder.
Cleveland said the search warrants were the culmination of an ongoing drug, gang, and violent activity investigation.
“Right now, we can't say a whole lot,” Cleveland said Friday. “I would like to thank all the agents say we're multiple agencies federal state the GBI did a fantastic job with this they've been working on it for several months.”
Those arrested include:
- Lendarrius Jaywon Keese – conspiracy to commit a crime (murder), violation of the Street Gang Act
- Jaquavious Marquez Waller – conspiracy to commit a crime (murder), two counts of violation of the Street Gang Act
- Laterrell Alexander – violation of the Street Gang Act
- Kenothy Leroy Brown – violation of the Street Gang Act
- Ayana Toryelle Curry – violation of the Street Gang Act
- Tyrickus Miller – violation of the Street Gang Act
- Larjarvis O’Neal Rucker – violation of the Street Gang Act
- Jarvis Dione Settles – aggravated assault
- Trenton Shoemaker – violation of the Street Gang Act
- Quentin Devone Simpson – violation of the Street Gang Act
- Deandre Zamel Watford – violation of the Street Gang Act
“We're just happy that everything went well,” Cleveland said. “Nobody got hurt on either side and that's always a plus. This roundup needed doing some time back. The most serious was the two this charged with conspiracy to commit murder.”
In addition to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, the following agencies participated: Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Georgia Department of Corrections, Georgia Department of Community Supervision, Georgia State Patrol, Georgia State Patrol SWAT, Hartwell Police Department, Lavonia Police Department, North Georgia Multi Offenders Task Force, and Northern Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office.
