A driver looking at his cell phone led to two arrests and the seizure of a large quantity of drugs late Sunday in Cornelia.
Cornelia Police Chief Jonathan Roberts said officers pulled over a truck that was maneuvering erratically on Ga. 385 near RaceTrac.
During the traffic stop, a large amount of suspected illegal drugs was discovered inside the truck, including:
- Seven pounds of raw marijuana

- 1.5 pounds of mushrooms
- 300 grams of Kief (defined as incredibly potent cannabis)
- 128 pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes
- 34 packages of edible marijuana gummies
Officers also found $3,915 cash in the truck.
Donald Pickett, 53, of Atlanta, was charged with driving under the influence, distracted driving, and possession with intent to distribute.
A passenger in the truck, 48-year-old Constance Herbs of New York, was charged with possession with intent to distribute.
