Masks are now being required again in Gwinnett County. Gwinnett County Commission Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson renewed a local emergency order requiring masks or face coverings in all county facilities. The order will be in effect until Feb. 25.
According to the order, masks must cover the nose and mouth completely. Anyone refusing to comply could be denied entry or asked to leave. Anyone who cannot afford a mask will be provided one.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, there are a few exceptions – those who need help putting on masks, those with medical conditions, and those with genuine religious objections.
The order does not apply to private businesses, court facilities, school district buildings, or city government buildings.
