A Dawsonville man was killed early Sunday morning in Forsyth County when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

Glenn Worley, 21, was driving west on Martin Road in a gray Chevy Silverado around 3 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road, according to a report from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. His vehicle left the roadway and struck a nearby tree.

Personnel with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and Fire Department responded to the area between the Settingdown Road roundabout and Cordova Lane. Worley was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are still investigating the crash, however speed and alcohol are considered factors.
