A boy, 12, suffered serious injuries after an ATV accident in Baldwin Monday afternoon.
According to a press release from Banks County Fire Chief Steve Nichols, units with Banks County Fire/EMS responded to Spring Road off Highway 105 at 12:22 p.m. Monday after receiving a call about a person trapped under the vehicle and a second person with serious injuries.
When they arrived, units found that the person who had been trapped was able to escape safely. They then found the boy with multiple serious injuries.
The boy was stabilized and taken by air ambulance to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in serious condition.
No other injuries were reported in the accident. The Banks County Sheriff's Office is conducting the accident investigation.
