DAHLONEGA, Ga. — According to his coach, Michael Parker, Jones Harris plays the same way no matter the score.

On Tuesday, Harris proved Parker's theory was correct as he led Lumpkin County's rally past Region 7-3A foe, Cherokee Bluff, 57-51, on the road.

The senior post player poured in 21 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. He also dished out three assists in the come-from-behind win. The win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Indians (5-10, 2-3 Region 7-3A) and also pushed them into an early tie for fourth place.

Parker says Harris plays with a relentless effort every time he hits the floor.

"He wants to be better than anybody on the court. He wants to be better than anybody else in the weight room," Parker said. "So, his effort and those things, he just keeps coming if things are going his way.

"He also gives his best, not only on the court but in the classroom, the weight room. He's high character, high motor and has high energy. He's really fun to coach."
