Gas station clerks charged with selling alcohol to minors

Three clerks at two gas stations in Jefferson have been arrested for selling alcohol to minors.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, multiple complaints were made that employees of the Mobile Gas Station on Athens Street and Fast Phil’s on Hwy 129 were selling alcohol, tobacco, and vape pens to minors.

After a lengthy investigation, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three different clerks.

Last week, Jayeshkumar Bububhai Patel, 57 of Jefferson was arrested for selling alcohol to minors. Today they arrested Nihar Dilipbhai Patel, age 33, and Jahnvi Nipulbhai Patel, age 33, both of Jefferson, for selling alcohol to teens.
