After placing last year's event on hold because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Hall County Master Gardeners have put the Fall Garden Expo on the 2021 calendar.
The two-day event is scheduled for the last weekend in September and will be held at the Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center, just off I-985.
The 2021 Expo features more than 45 garden-related vendors from around Georgia and neighboring states who are offering a wide variety of annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, vegetable plants, crafts, garden art, hardware, garden accessories, garden jewelry and clothes. Carts will be available at the open-air facility to borrow, and when that cart gets full of goodies, there is a holding area where the hosts will store and guard purchases. Master Gardeners will load plants into vehicles
In addition, food vendors are available. Attendees will find parking and public restrooms on site.
There will be four expert speakers offering free sessions:
- Fall Vegetable Gardening
- 3x3 - Design, Planting, and Maintenance for Successful Gardening
- Raingardens - Save Water and Preserve Pollinator Habitat Naturally
- All About Japanese Maples and Pruning Techniques
