RABBITTOWN — Tyler Crow ran for 246 yards and three scores and passed for 47 yards and one touchdown to lead East Jackson to a 56-27 win over East Hall on Friday at East Hall Stadium.
The 56 points tied a program record for the Eagles (2-3), who also scored 56 against Union County in 2009. They built a 49-21 halftime lead and then cruised to the win in the second half.
Quay Hill added 99 yards and two touchdowns and Gary Maddox had 50 yards and one score for East Jackson, which ran for 395 yards for the game.
The Eagles will need the momentum as they open Region 8-3A play in two weeks against 2020 state runner-up Oconee County in Watkinsville.
East Hall (1-3) continues to struggle on defense yielding 44.2 points/game so far. The Vikings will open Region 8-4A play on the road next week against Cedar Shoals in Athens.
