Susan Spikes scored her second straight Super Pro final in Saturday’s penultimate Summit ET Drag Racing Series points paying race at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia.
Spikes, a native of Commerce, Georgia, defeated fellow Commerce driver Mark Hancock in the final.
Spokes dialed in her 2001 Undercover Dragster in on a 4.95 and ran a 4.962 ET at 137.79 MPH and a near perfect 0.003 reaction time.
Hancock dialed in his 2005 Undercover Dragster on a 4.73 and ran a dead-on 4.732 ET at 145.78 MPH, but spoiled his run by fouling with a -0.006 reaction time.
Other winners on the day included J.C. Gibson in Pro, Mike Puckett in Sportsman, Jason Hofer in both Box and No-Box Motorcycle, Corey Reid in 5-9 JR Dragster, Cooper Hancock in 10-12 JR Dragster and Michelle Vancica in 13-17 Dragster.
