COAL MOUNTAIN — The North Forsyth defense smothered Etowah en route to a 14-0 win Friday night in Raider Valley.
The Raiders (3-1) held the Eagles to just 67 total yards of offense and used its powerful ground game to control the clock.
Patrick Corrigan led the Raiders rushing attack with 78 yards on 16 carries and both scores.
Corrigan put the Raiders on the board late in the opening quarter when he capped a 10-play drive with an 11-yard run. He added the second score with 8:35 to go in the third quarter -- a one-yard run.
